That is interesting. My DVD burner is connected to IDE controller and I have in kernel enabled both options support: <*> Include IDE/ATAPI CDROM support and <*> SCSI CDROM support My DVD is recognized as /dev/hdc If I disable first option "DE/ATAPI CDROM support" will the drive be recognized as /dev/sr0 ??? -- #Joseph -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
