What's so confusing about it? On the first level, mplayerplug-in wants to be installed. But that requires mozilla-firefox, whihc in turn requires mozilla-launcher. It's read from left to right and from top to bottom. But packages will be merged in ASCENDING order, that is from bottom to top. So, first mozilla-launcher will be installed, and then mozilla-firefox. This is of course logical, as firefox cannot be installed without mozilla-launcher.
