103 files installed in /var/tmp/portage/gnome-netstatus-2.12.0/image///var/tmp/portage/gnome-netstatus-2.12.0/image/ If you look at that path /var/tmp/portage/gnome-netstatus-2.12.0/image/ is duplicated which means the final directory that portage would install to would be the directory it's installing from.
