anyone know if you can compile something locally into your home
directory using portage without being root?
basically what I want to accomplish is like...
ROOT=/home/lamotte/compile emerge openssh
or
ebuild /path/to/ebuild/ merge
I would basically like to be able to install something without being
root into a local home directory.
I hope this makes sense.
