sorry to come in late with useless info :) have you actually fixed (or
found a workaround to) the problem?
I just made a symlink to /usr/share/X11/rgb.txt :
$ ls -al /usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 22 2006-05-11 20:14 /usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt ->
/usr/share/X11/rgb.txt
and it works. I don't have time to care why atm. Just letting you know
in case you haven't fixed it yet...
