Try
#modprobe snd-intel8x0
If it does'nt complain, in /etc/modules.d/alsa, add the lines
alias snd-card0 snd-intel8x0
alias /dev/mixer snd-mixer-oss
alias /dev/dsp snd-pcm-oss
then
#/etc/init.d/alsasound restart
