1. There's no need to send three copies of the same mail. If you didn't see it in your inbox it is because you use G-mail. 2. If you are sure you won't use portage, then you can just delete /usr/portage and such. But I don't think emerge -C portage would remove them for you (never tried it). I don't even know if you can in fact unmerge portage like that. (Does the system allow you to do something like that?)
