Hello. When I use vlc to play music (like a MP3 file), the sound output (set to alsa) is rather "jerky". Ie. it stops for a fraction of a second every 4 or 5 seconds.
When I play the same file with xmms, all is fine. But I'd like to use vlc, as it plays audio streams like mms://a623.l672223087.c6722.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/623/6722/v0001/reflector:23087 just fine (or rather: used to play, as this "jerky" playback is a somewhat new misbehaviour). Any ideas? Thanks, Alexander Skwar -- Linux: Where Don't We Want To Go Today? -- Submitted by Pancrazio De Mauro, paraphrasing some well-known sales talk -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
