Is anyone on this list using BOINC+setiathome on AMD64? If so, what was your process for getting it working?
>From what I can tell, the setiathome package in portage is out-of-date. Furthermore, the x86_64 BOINC+setiathome ebuilds never worked correctly (in particular, "/etc/init.d/boinc attach"). So, it looks to me as though we must do a manual install if we want to run BOINC+setiathome on an Athlon64 CPU. Does anyone have any guidance for doing this with as little hassle as possible? Thanks!
