$ equery belongs kcm_kdnssd.so [ Searching for file(s) kcm_kdnssd.so in *... ] kde-base/kcontrol-3.5.3-r1 (/usr/kde/3.5/lib/kde3/kcm_kdnssd.so) Re-emerge kcontrol and see if that helps.
