Make sure you've got /usr/share/fonts/misc listed in xorg.conf. Make sure /usr/lib/libXfont.so.1.5 does not exist (1.4 is fine). Remerge font-alias, encodings, font-misc-misc, font-cursor-misc. Thanks, Donnie
