Hi folks,
what does --deep actually do ?
I've just sync'ed and asked emerge what it would update:
emerge --newuse --update --tree --pretend world
Showed nothing. Okay, evrything up to daet.
But:
emerge --deep --newuse --update --tree --pretend world
showed several packages.
So what does it actually do ? Rebuild certain packages if others
they depend on had been updated ?
