I followed this guide to set up printing: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/printing-howto.xml
but it didn't start working until I emerged foomatic. The guide doesn't mention foomatic whatsoever. My printer is a Brother HL-2040 laser. - Grant -- [email protected] mailing list
