Heh, that's funny! I just tried creating a simple KDE application with KDevelop on my box, and it seems to work ok. But I just upgraded to the ~arch 3.5.4 version of KDE.... But maybe some other ideas: Are you trying to build an existing KDE app, or a new one? Does it work if you create the simple "hello world" app? What versions of automake do you have installed?
