Hi Wolfgang, Thanks to your advice I got it working. Running ldd I get: "undefined symbol: MP4GetTrackAudioType" Which led me to this: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123569 Which has been labled FIXED and RESOLVED, however, the current stable version of the faad2 ebuild has not applied the patch that fixes the issue, so I don't really see how the bug has been resolved... Anyway, I am now able to play m4a/mp4 files in xmms again.
