My touchpad does not seem to have a problem:
=========================================
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse0"
Driver "synaptics"
Option "Protocol" "SynPS/2"
Option "InputFashion" "Mouse"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "Name" "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad"
Option "SHMConfig" "on"
Option "Vendor" "0002"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "True"
Option "Buttons" "3"
EndSection
=========================================
On the other hand I have not tried (yet) a USB mouse to see if/how it will be
picked up. No problem with PS/2 mice though. They are detected as soon as I
plug them in.
