Hmm, strange.  What does the following output:

# grep Blue-1.6.tar.bz2 /usr/portage/media-video/mplayer/Manifest
# wget http://distfiles.gentoo.org/distfiles/Blue-1.6.tar.bz2
# ls -l Blue-1.6.tar.bz
# sha256sum Blue-1.6.tar.bz2

In particular, see if the string printed by sha256sum matches the
string after SHA256 in the Manifest, and that the sizes match.  If so,
try moving the archive you just downloaded manually to distfiles.

well, there is the problem I guess.

(Sorry, I'm not sure that I've got the package installed with sha256sum and I'm not sure which package that is off the top of my head).

BTW, I get 225883 bytes for this file, with the SHA256 sum of
394333a50184fc9ea78eba726204a5dbb653a07e30c94d335c52e2a4e1be0568,
which matches the Manifest, although I haven't sync'd in a couple of
days.

So the Manifest that I've got appears to be different.  I've just sync'd and still have the same problem.  I'm not really sure where to go from here.  Other downloads from other mirrors give me the same result.
