The resolver is caching the result of looking up rsync.gentoo.org. Until that expires, which depends on the TTL setting on the DNS server, you will always get the same IP address for rsync.gentoo.org. -- Neil Bothwick Captain, I believe there's an energy source in the liver of the cloud.
