What do you mean diary tools? If you just mean a way of keeping a diary on a computer, I would suggest just flat text files (with vim as the preferred editor) in a directory named by dates. If you mean blogging, there are plenty of software available as well as services available on the web. Really depends on your precise needs I guess (do you want it accessible by other people, do you want pictures, etc.) Please provide more information about what you want so we can better help you.
