There are two reasons why it would be good for you, even if you intend to replace the installed Linux with something better: 1) You know that all the hardware works with Linux. If they supply driver for Ubuntu, you can get them for Gentoo (unless Dell do something horrid like using ndiswrapper) 2) You don't have to pay for a Windows licence. -- Neil Bothwick Iraqi terrorist, Khay Rahnajet, didn't pay enough postage on a letter bomb.
