Hello All I have just installed gentoo 2007.0 and for most parts of it, I am very happy. There is 1 issue that I need help with.
1. Automounting of CD's and DVD's Hald and dbus are set to default run levels. gnome-mount is installed I am part of the plugdev and cdrom groups And I have pmount also installed. When I insert a disk, I get the error " Cannot mount Volume" Here are my software versions :~ # gnome-mount --version gnome-mount 0.4 ~ # hald --version HAL package version: 0.5.7.1 Any ideas or advise on how to solve this would be sincerely appreciated.
