Hi. When I boot using softlevel=single -- what seems to be happening is that it runs the default level and then stops all of those processes since there is actually nothing in the /etc/runlevels/single directory. Is there anyway to have it not run the default level first -- as this causes some strange problem when a script in the default level starts another process which I then have to kill manually.
