Let me make a small correction; the last line of
make.conf should be uncommented, and the error from
glsa-check should be:

camille etc # glsa-check -m 200610-14Traceback (most
recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/glsa-check", line 316, in ?
    portage_mail.send_mail(glsaconfig, mymessage)
  File "/usr/lib/portage/pym/portage_mail.py", line
85, in send_mail
    raise portage_exception.PortageException("!!! An
error occured while trying to send logmail:\n"+str(e))
portage_exception.PortageException: !!! An error
occured while trying to send logmail:
SMTP AUTH extension not supported by server.
