Or if you'd rather not remove splashutils, you'll need to tell portage you're happy to run version 1.5.2 which is currently marked unstable: echo "~media-gfx/splashutils-1.5.2" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords This updated version of splashutils will also require you to accept an unstable version of klibc: echo "~dev-libs/klibc-1.5" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
