There was a typo, it's 5 not 6 months.
Latest release cdrtools: September 3rd. Number of cdrtools releases since
May 6th (the last release for cdrkit): 9.
Age of cdrtools: 12 years
Age of wodim: 12 months
If cdrtools was as "active" as cdrkit, the last release was 5 years ago.
