My wife and I run evolution 2.12.1 . We love the blinking letter in the notification area of our panel, but we absolutely can't stand the speech bubble that pops out of it, saying "You have x new messages." We know we have new messages waiting if that envelope is flashing; we don't need a speech bubble telling us that we have new messages. Is there any way short of altering evolution's source code and recompiling to stop this behaviour? -Michael Sullivan-
