I'm preparing to setup Gentoo on Intel Xeon 5XXX CPU (quad core) with
4Gig RAM DDR2 667 ECC and Intel series 3000 server motherboard.
I wan't to do a 64 bit hardened installation. Main services to run on
that machine are:
- samba/nfs
- apache
- viedo streaming
My problem is in lack of sufficent info. I did my time with hardened
manual and descriptions, but thats it.
It will be my first hardened setup, and first 64 bit setup so if You
have any experience in those areas, or know something that I should know
before I begin - let me know.
