Side note: I've just come back to gentoo yet again from giving Ubuntu an honest try for three months. I got annoyed at work one day with all the work I would have to do to get suspend/hibernate working on the new notebook, then I forgot to add USE=ldap for something, so tried the switch like everyone else had already done. Didn't work for me. Everywhere else the Ubuntu setup wasn't quite right for me, and there's no equivalent to making a local overlay to build e17 weekly, and do it EASILY.
