Just a guess: ensure '/usr/lib/libGL' is in /etc/ld.so.conf and then 
run 'ldconfig'...

I suggest this because I use nVidia GL, and I 
have '/usr/lib/opengl/nvidia/lib' listed in my ld.so.conf. Though, I don't 
recall having to add it manually.
