Hi, Maybe you could provide more detail about the error and your specific setup? What does "emerge --info" say? Do you get any error output when you try to play ogg-files?
Just in case: I do use audacious once in a while and have been using the 1.5.1 versions for some time now. mp3 and ogg files both play like a charm (just checked it to be abs sure) Here the USE flags as set on my boxes: # emerge -1pv audacious audacious-plugins These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done!
