Hi Thomas, Downgrade your xf86-video-intel to 2.5.3.x I tried to upgrade my system with overlay x11 and USE="xcb" and I got a totally messed system. See these, before do anything: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=248743 http://bugs.gentoo.org/158476 Cheers, István
