About syncing portage more than once a day...
Hmm. Most mirrors I sync against don't have such policy, and some even
explicitly state in their MOTD that there's no limit to how often you
can sync. I'm using rsync://rsync.europe.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage.
I guess they all have flatrate bandwidth or bandwidth is cheap in Europe :P
