nope, I have: de_DE.UTF-8 UTF-8 de_DE ISO-8859-1 de...@euro ISO-8859-15 in locale.gen and lang=de...@euro language=de...@euro lc_all=de...@euro set. which works well. utf gave me trouble in the past, so I shelfed that idea a long time ago.
