I think they have a compact flash camera. As mentioned, they no longer have a Windows system at their house, they decided to try out Linux, and have been using it now for several months. It was an old pc and I set them up with Xubuntu. I felt Gentoo would have been to much for them to maintain. So far, leaving out some of the minor learning curves, they think it has been great.
