On http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/prelink-howto.xml is says:
You do not need to set FEATURES="prelink" in your make.conf file; Portage will automatically support prelink if it can find the prelink binary.Does that mean there's a way portage will call prelink on its own when it finds it? Well, it doesn't here. I still have to manually prelink or have a cron job.
