Sounds like bad download(s). It has happened a few times in the past when I was using an ISP who was throttling traffic like mad (very much a common UK ISP sport these days). Packets were being dropped continuously. If it is an ISP network probelm you may want to try websync instead of rsync and at a quiet time and see if there is a difference. -- Regards, Mick
