No problem with 3.5.10 a week ago, before I installed 4.3.1 ,
but since then neither will connect.

In Krusader, it fails with an error box saying 
'Unknown error, unexpected SFTP error: 8'.

>From CLI it also fails with

  501: ~> sftp <hostname>
    Connecting to <hostname>...
    Protocol major versions differ: 2 vs. 1
    Couldn't read packet: Connection reset by peer

I can do what I need (uploading files) via 'ssh' + 'scp' as easily,
but it's a good thing to track down the causes of errors & report bugs.
