Hello, It seems the gentoo version of pciutils does not include the script to update the pci device ids:
http://pci-ids.ucw.cz/ So I looked at the latest available: http://pci-ids.ucw.cz/v2.2/pci.ids Date: 2009-09-18 03:15:01 The latest version on gentoo available via /usr/share/misc/pci.ids is Date: 2009-08-14 14:32:03 Should I just replace this file manually? Would anyone know of a reason why the devs did not implement 'update-pciids' ?????? thoughts? caveats? James
