The problem of course is that few calendar entries have geocodable location data. But other than that, calendar should be a very useful source for status data and/or location (it at least knows when I'm "Busy"). BTW: if we solve the question of geocoding calendar entries, it could also be used for things like automatically generating driving directions from current location to next meeting (or querying a public transport route planner for the same).
