Hi, I spent couple of days analyzing the same thing, how to make QtLocation positioning & satellites support in detail. Many of those issues seem to be valid and without being solved at GeoClue(ish) level, the QtLocation will be somewhat suboptimal (mainly impacting MeeGo support as the GeoClue is used there). I've added my comments on the bugs.

I have filed those here and would like to see some comments, regarding whether this can be handled by geoclue or whether there are deficiencies in the apis of geoclue or qt mobility location. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29974 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29989 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29991 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29992 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29993 thanks Stefan [1] http://doc.qt.nokia.com/qtmobility-1.1-tp/location-overview.html _______________________________________________ GeoClue mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/geoclue _______________________________________________ GeoClue mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/geoclue
