Patch was posted a while ago, but yeah I just have to rewrite it, but Johannes also didn't seem too thrilled to have this as part of iw. Indeed, we wanted to have a solution for embedded to though and APs neither have nor can get GPS devices on them and GeoClue is a bit of bloat for embedded as well.
