There isn't much involved actually and it's usual free software cycle: # Replace configure with autogen.sh if you are building from git $ ./configure --prefix /usr --sysconfdir=/etc --with-dbus-service-user=geoclue $ make $ sudo make install Please keep in mind that geoclue being a system service, can't be (easily) installed and ran from custom prefix so you'll be overwriting your system-installed geoclue. Also you might need to check if your distribution creates a 'geoclue' user. If it does not, please remove the '--with-dbus-service-user=geoclue' part above. Hope that helps.
