Has anyone considered adding _slightly reflective_ materials to surfaces that are regularly covered or newly made. For instance tarred roads, roofing and the like. Too reflective on roads would be bad for drivers in the day but certainly may show a little advantage at night. Imagine if every vehicle on the road was forced to have a reflective roof, it would probably have to be redesigned so as not to reflect into the eyes of those drivers in taller vehicles.
