I'm trying to understand sulphur aerosols better, partly to improve
the wiki. As far as I can see, they are popular as a geoengineering
technique because they're pretty cheap, emulate volcanoes which are
well-tolerated and understood, and rely on existing technology such as
artillery. However, I've not seen any research that looks at the
upper limit to this technology. Can you just go pumping H2S or SO2
into the stratosphere till your heart's content, or does something
fundamentally break if you do it too much, for too long or in too
concentrated an area?

Opinions, please!
