Here's an alternative name: carbon air capture Sometimes, an even longer name is used - carbon capture from ambient air The name indicates that carbon isn't captured at the site of emission, such as when scrubbers are built into coal-fired power plants, which is sometimes referred to as "clean coal" and - when combined with storage - Carbon Capture and Storage, or Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_capture_and_storage
Note that the abobe wikipedia page also mentions Terra Preta, Biochar, etc, but no mention of Carbon Air Capture, nor of a wider perspective as to what can be done with the captured carbon. Consider also mentioning the work of David Keith.
