as a general point for list etiquette, it seems sensible to ask people to send links rather than attachments.
this has 2 benefits: 1) links can be put up on websites, esp wikipedia 2) pdf files etc usually take up a couple of meg, and if you're browsing on a device with a slow connection and/or limited storage, it can cause technical problems.
