Today I went to http://www.iq2greenfestival.com/

It was held at http://www.rgs.org

Stephen Salter was present at the geoengineering session.

Here were a few observations from the sessions I went to.

David King admitted that current models were not able to incorporate
non-linear effects adequately, and that their accuracy broke down
around 3C above pre-industrial levels (this appears pretty much where
we're headed, so hang on to your seats)
There was a general sense of frustration from speakers e.g. Stephen
Salter and Doug Richards (from the UK TV show 'Dragon's Den') that
very little funding was available for geoeng. There seemed to be more
hope of public sector funding than of private-sector funding.
There was no general sense of animosity towards geoeng per se that I
was aware of in any of the sessions.
The first plenary session was pretty good and Eric Bettelheim was a
tour de force argument for geoeng. The accuracy of the denialists was
publicly questioned by me and at least one other audience member (to
applause as I recall).
