Dear Group, You may have already had a chance to read the recently released Synthesis Report from the IARU Climate Change Congress held last March in Copenhagen.
Below is a link leading to the Mike Hume's perspective on the March Copenhagen meeting. He is critical about how the meeting and report were to be drafted. He wrote his piece in March just after the meeting. http://seedmagazine.com/content/article/what_was_the_copenhagen_climate_change_conference_really_about/ >From his essay and reports of the NAS meeting this month, I would gather that when we are limiting our discourse in meeting, publications and elsewhere and we are lose new ideas and the seeds of other ideas. Old ideas get rehashed and lead only to incremental advances of the same things. The link to the report. www.climatecongress.ku.dk/pdf/synthesisreport/.
