Dear Dr Box,
I was interested to read about measuring aerosols, especially using satellites looking in different directions: http://www.phys.unsw.edu.au/RESEARCH/ATMOSPHERIC/atmospheric_research.html If we are to deliberately deploy stratospheric sulphate aerosols, to cool either regionally (in the Arctic or Antarctic) or globally, are the necessary satellite instruments in place to measure the effectiveness?
