Hi fellow Geoengineers:
Early in December, I will have the opportunity to address an R&D
finance panel at the U.S. House of Representatives in D.C. The topic
is: where to focus R&D, and I am presenting on opportunities in
optics. Obviously getting geoengineering out of the doghouse is a key
message and goal. I also know from his Stanford days Steven Chu, and
MAY have some access there.
I'm looking for advice and suggestions on:
-- data or slides to show (remember, this is not a scientific
audience but a political one)
-- names of who suggested political leaders to try and obtain one-
on-one meetings with while there. They have said they will work to get
me time with folks for area-specific funding pleas.
Suggestions from this sage and wise group?
